Dow Jones, S&P500, and Nasdaq Close in Positive Territory – General Electric and Coca-Cola Stocks Surge

The main US stock indices they closed the session in positive territory.

The Dow Jones recovered 0.62% to 33,141 points, while the S&P500 gained 0.73% to 4,248 points. A plus sign also for the Nasdaq (+0.93% at 13,140 points).

Definitely a positive day for General Electric (+6.48% to 113.6 dollars). The US giant ended the 3rd quarter of 2023 with earnings per share of $0.82, which compares with the analysts’ consensus of $0.56. Additionally, management has raised its full-year profit guidance to between $2.55 and $2.65.

Coca-Cola also rose sharply (+2.88% to 55.64 dollars). The beverage giant closed the 3rd quarter of 2023 with revenues and earnings per share better than analysts’ forecasts.
