Adeyemo added, “I will go to Europe starting Friday, and I will meet with our allies and partners and talk about what we can do in a coordinated manner to confront the Hamas financing network.” According to Agence France-Presse.
He continued, “Our goal is to build an alliance with countries in the region but also around the world to combat its financing.”
Adeyemo explained that over the past few years, the United States “imposed a number of sanctions on Hamas, which devised means and tried to find ways to circumvent our sanctions,” including through cryptocurrencies.
French President Emmanuel Macron suggested that an international “coalition” would undertake, not only financially but also on a broader scale, “combat” the Palestinian movement.
