In Zurich there was a police operation at the High Court in the city center on Tuesday afternoon, October 24, 2023 (see latest report: Bomb threat at the High Court in Zurich).
Shortly after 11:30 a.m., several media companies contacted the Zurich city and cantonal police because they had received a threatening letter against the higher court. The emergency services that were deployed immediately arranged for the people present on site to be evacuated and secured the building.
Specialists then searched the property. The operation ended around 4:45 p.m.
The investigation into the perpetrator is being conducted by the Zurich cantonal police in collaboration with the responsible public prosecutor’s office. Together with the Zurich Cantonal Police, the Zurich City Police, the Zurich Forensic Institute (FOR) and Zurich Protection & Rescue were on duty.
