Zapping National Football Hugo Lloris: The big dates in blue
Second in the National championship, Niort travels to the pitch of promoted Marignane-Gignac Côte-Bleue this Friday evening for the seventh multiplex of the season. A trip which could allow the club relegated to the third level to continue its momentum and achieve a fifth match in a row without defeat. At the dawn of this trip, Philippe Hinschberger returned to the objectives set by the management of the Chamois during an interview given to the media of the French Football Federation.
“The rise? This is not the objective set by the president: when we come down from Ligue 2, we do not act smart. The first goal is to stop the descent and keep the club in National, to learn to know my group and all these young people but also to understand how to work with my new technical staff. I had been working with Francis de Perçin (who left for Laval) for five years, during which time we saw each other more than our wives (laughs) .” first confided the coach of the Deux-Sèvres club.
“We get to know each other gradually”
Then the former coach of Amiens SC continued and concluded on this subject. “When I arrived here, I found two club histories: Franck Azzopardi, my captain during my first visit in 2001, and Pascal Landais who is a legend here. We gradually get to know each other. to win three of our first four matches at home, which they did. We could have done even better but the team is making progress around young players, which bodes well for the future. Aiming higher? don’t forbid anything.”
