Fine theater actor Lauris Dzelzītis revealed in an interview to the publication “Privatā Dzīve” that he is looking for new owners for the property in Aloja, which was originally purchased by his grandfather and where the actor spent his childhood.
After his father’s death, in 2015, Dzelzītis became the sole owner of the property, buying back the inherited parts of the property from his stepmother. The childhood spent in the house is only associated with bad memories for the actor, so he demolished it and is currently building a new one in its place.
Dzelzītis plans to finish the renovations on the property this winter and sell it to a young, happy family.
Asked why he wants to sell these houses, the actor answers:
I don’t need that place. I just wanted to fix it.
“I have some aesthetics, it seems that that place in my head should be beautiful. Maybe silly and idealistic, but that’s how it was for me. I have another house.”
