Former Café in Oude Pekela Destroyed by Fire: Fire Brigade’s Controlled Burn and Demolition

A vacant building on Feiko Clockstraat in Oude Pekela was destroyed by fire. It is a former café. The fire brigade allowed the building to burn out in a controlled manner. During the extinguishing, a mobile crane was used to demolish parts of the building to gain better access to the seat of the fire.

Around half past seven, one fire truck was still fighting to extinguish the last flames. The other fire engines return to the barracks.
