Laeticia Ngalibika appointed DG of Gabon 24 –

She was appointed following the Council of Ministers, which took place on October 19, 2023.

Leatitia Carole Agowi Ngalibika will now take over as General Manager of the national television channel Gabon24. A journalist, the young lady took her first steps in the editorial office of the pan-African radio station Africa N°1, which became Africa Radio. Her first entry into television was in the Label Tv channel where she did not spend enough time and ended up joining the team of the national public television Gabon 24.

She is known by the Gabonese in her program “Face à la Nation” during the 2018 presidential elections when, on August 29, 2018, the President of the Republic announced he would address the populations in a new program format called “Face to the nation” and in the face of Ali Bongo, the Gabonese discovered a journalist who was up to the debate; both in terms of presence on the air, responsiveness, and in terms of speech, she pleasantly surprised more than one this evening.

Until the day of her appointment, she worked as news director at Gabon24. She replaces Frenchwoman Laure Bigourd in this position, at the head of this television since February 2019.
