In the competitive shooter Counter-Strike 2, players chase high frame rates. To do this, buy the most powerful PCs and lower the graphics as much as possible.
Team.AU decided to overclock Counter-Strike 2 to its full potential. As a result, we managed to get more than 1300 frames per second.
For the experiment, we used an Intel Core i9-14900K processor, which had to operate at a frequency of 7.5 GHz – 8 GHz. For comparison, under normal conditions the upper limit is 6 GHz.
