The Ultimate Guide to Completing Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Collecting All Medals and Achievements

While our complete guide to worlds, levels and secret exits tells you how to get all the Wonder Seeds in the game, you’ve now realized that this isn’t enough to 100% complete Super Mario Bros. Wonder. To do this, you must earn six medals that prove your worth as the Flower Kingdom’s greatest plumber, which in turn depend on you collecting a number of other things.

If you have an annoying blank space in your SMBW title screen, read on to find out what you still need to collect to get all the medals in the game (though your order may be different)…

Medal 1: Collect all royal seeds

Basically, this is when you defeat Bowser Flower Castle in the rock lair of the Petal Archipelago. To access it, you first need to use six Royal Seeds to eliminate the Piranha Clouds that protect the bad guys, and each world is earned by completing the six worlds surrounding Archipelago.

In other words, when you watch (and play) the credits after dancing to “Final Battle! Bowser Concert,” you’ll earn your first medal.

Medal 2: Obtain all 10 flower coins

You may have seen that in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, like in New! As in the Super Mario Bros. series, each level hides three special coins, in this case three large purple coins with the number 10 on them. They’re called Flower Coins, there are some very tricky ones, and when you get them, you get another medal.

Please note: This prize is primarily limited to all Flower Coins from the seven surface worlds; you don’t have to get all Flower Coins from the Special World, as you can’t get them all yet.

Medal 3: Reach flagpoles at all levels

As with other Mario games, you’ll be rewarded for jumping to the top of the pole at the end of each level. If you do this in every land in Flower Kingdom, you’ll get another gold medal.

Likewise, you don’t need to mark every level in Special World, as this is basically impossible due to the game’s unlock order.

Medal 4: Find all magic seeds

You need to see the green checkmark ✓ in all levels and worlds, as explained in the guide to getting all seeds.

However, like the logo, the game cheats you here, as you will always have one seed left to complete a total of 225 seeds, the last seed in Special World.

Medal 5: Get everyone standing

Stands are boards used to display emotes for other players in local multiplayer and online multiplayer games. There are 12 of each character. Therefore, they have a total of 144 standers.

So how do you get all the standings? During your journey, you’ll see each Poplin Shop selling random Standees (Surprise Standees for 10 Flower Coins), and you can repeat this often. You can spend some Poplin Coin to collect them this way, but our recommendation is that you invest in Wonder Seeds and Item Badges in these shops, because at the end of the game, in the Special World, you will find the Standees Shop, a unit For 30 Poplin Coins, you’re guaranteed to get a surprise character panel, literally “the character panel you don’t have yet”. It’s like when you complete your sticker collection by asking the publisher for the sticker you’re missing.

This way you can complete your collection and earn medals. If you don’t have them all, these are the characters and their poses and changes (not just Toad and Yoshi’s color changes, but also gestures and drawings)!

figure: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yellow Toad, Blue Toad, Toad, Green Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, Kako Gasabu.

posture: Jump, Swim, Beat, Beat, Run, Leap, Goomba, Crouch, Pose, On Cloud, Jump Bomb, Balloon, Defuse.

There are 12

characters, each with 12 panels of different poses or miracle effects.

Medal 6: Earn all badges

Now, yes, it’s not nice to look at the world below: if you want all 24 badges in the game (challenge badges, the ones you get from Poplin or the ones you buy from their store), including the last one that’s missing For Pro Badge, you’ll need first Wonder Seeds 10 Flower Coins from the Seven Earth Worlds and Special World, which means overcoming your biggest nightmare: completing Ultra-Final Marathon: Badges on Trial, the hardest level in the game.

To unlock Ultra-Final Marathon: Badges on Trial, you’ll first need to get all the other Wonder Seeds in the game, so make sure you have the ✓ check mark on all levels and worlds (thus getting our Medal 4).

So how to beat the Ultra Final Marathon? Ha, my friend. You can pray for a miracle, train hard… it might take hours or days, but if you don’t want it to be so, so relentless, we recommend giving Yoshi a try. Because he is invincible and can be beaten? Well, so does Nabbit, but Yoshi has some extra advantages. By the way, being invincible won’t do you much good if the hit knocks you into the void when the fire “sausage” arrives. The nice thing about Yoshi is that he can also flap his wings (although he only does it once in this game) and even reach for coins with his tongue. If that’s not enough, in the last part of the level, when you use the Pro Invisibility Badge, you can see drops of Yoshi’s efforts when he slaps them, giving you an extra visual clue. If you want to see how we do it, play this video:

Once you complete the Ultra Final Marathon, as long as you complete all three 10 Flower Coins and touch the flagpole (sounds silly, but the latter is also tricky), a secret path will open to the “Miracle!” booth with the talking flower We are waiting there to thank you for your experience and give you the final Pro Badge: A Cappella. If you equip it, we won’t tell you what it does so as not to spoil it for you…
