KATHMANDU, 22nd October, 2017 (WAM) – An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale struck Nepal today, according to what was announced by the National Seismological Center in Nepal.
The center said that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Dhading district, about 55 kilometers west of the capital, Kathmandu.
For its part, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said that the earthquake was at a depth of 13 kilometers.
