The voice actor believes that such mods are unethical because artists should be compensated for their work in one way or another. In this case, he stated that he should be paid for voiceover work.
However, the topic led to an interesting remark from the actor. He later stated that mods like this prove how popular Deus Ex is today and said:
We haven’t received any new Deus Ex. This is madness.
