Ed Sheeran will have a concert at Vasil Levski Stadium on August 31, 2024.
The event is part of the “+ – = ÷ x” Mathematics tour in Asia and Europe, organizers from the Fest Team announced.
The upcoming tour of both continents is the first since 2019, and the European concerts are a continuation of his visit to the Old Continent last year.
“The news comes on the heels of his super-successful US tour, where Ed set numerous attendance records, including at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the latter of which saw the artist set the record for the largest concert attendance in USA for a day in history,” says the Fest Team.
This year alone, Sheeran released two albums – “-” (Substract) and Autumn Variations, both of which reached #1 worldwide. Both albums, the result of the singer’s work with Aaron Dessner of The National, received extremely positive reviews from critics and audiences.
The first concert is on January 27 in Osaka, Japan. It is followed by Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bahrain, Dubai, Cyprus, Malta and Tenerife.
Co-organizer of the concert in our country is AEG – a company that works in the music and entertainment industry on five continents. Among her festivals and multi-day music events are Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, British Summer Time at Hyde Park, Stagecoach, Hangout Festival, Electric Forest, Rock En Seine and All Points East.
The company promotes tours of artists such as Justin Bieber, Blackpink, Kenny Chesney, Celine Dion, Elton John, Carol G, Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift.
