Announcement: Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Judo Championship 2023 Draw to Take Place

ABU DHABI, 21st October / WAM / The draw for the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Judo Championship 2023 will be held the day after tomorrow, via video technology, the competitions of which will begin next Tuesday at the Mubadala Arena, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 467 male and female players from 81 countries, including 11 Arab countries.
The draw ceremony will witness an explanation of the instructions, regulations and conditions of the tournament.
The tournament begins with competitions for light weights under 48, 52, 57, 60, and 66 kg, followed on the second day by competitions for light-medium weights under 63, 70, 73, and 81 kg.
The final day will witness heavyweight competitions for under and over 78 kg, under and over 90 kg, and under and over 100 kg, followed by a coronation ceremony for the winners.
11 Arab countries are participating in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Djibouti, and the UAE national team.
