This feature that Telegram has had for years has been available to WhatsApp beta users for some time. The good news is that the feature has now been rolled out to the stable channel.
“Today, we’re introducing the ability to have two WhatsApp accounts on Android logged in simultaneously. Useful for switching between accounts, for example a work account and a personal account, now you no longer need to log out every time, carry two phones, or worry about sending messages from wrong place,” explained WhatsApp via its official blog.
Having the ability to run two different WhatsApp accounts simultaneously on a smartphone will eliminate the need for users. Namely to carry two smartphones or use the app clone feature.

So, how do you set up multiple WhatsApp accounts on the same phone? Very easy.
To set up a second WhatsApp account, you (of course) need a phone number and a second SIM card or a phone with multi-SIM or eSIM support. However, if your second SIM card is on a different device, you can still set up a second WhatsApp account as long as you can receive a security code to log in.
Once you have that sorted, you can go to WhatsApp settings, click the arrow next to your name, click “Add account”, and follow the instructions.
WhatsApp says you can control privacy and notification settings for both accounts separately.
Reported via GSMArena, when tested by running the latest version of WhatsApp on an Android device, there was no option to set up a second account. This means it will still take at least a week or two before this feature reaches all Android users worldwide.
