Saudi Football Federation Selects Al-Ittifaq Club Stadium for Saudi National Football Team Matches

Close sources revealed to Al-Riyadiya that the Saudi Football Federation has chosen the new Al-Ittifaq Club stadium in Al-Khobar Governorate, to play the first matches of the first Saudi national football team, against Pakistan on November 16, which is included in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
According to the same sources, the Football Association is considering playing the Green matches that are being held in Saudi Arabia as part of the Asian qualifiers in a number of Saudi cities.
Last month, the Ministry of Sports announced the readiness of Al-Ittifaq Club Stadium to host matches during the coming period after it was developed and equipped.
Al-Ettifaq will play its match against Al-Raed on the fourth of next November, at its new stadium, in the 12th round of the Saudi Roshan League.
Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium witnessed an increase of 15,000 seats in its capacity, equipping the dressing rooms, developing its facilities, constructing the stadium’s main platform, and installing canopies around the stands.
