Two trawlers were brought up on the night of Friday after illegal fishing. The Coast Guard confirms this to Nordlys.
Both trawlers were followed by the Coast Guard ship “Svalbard” and are now docked in Tromsø.
According to Fiskeribladet suspects both trawlers for illegal fishing
– We are at the very beginning of the case and are starting the investigation now. I can therefore not say anything about how much it is about, or confirm which species of fish, says operations manager Karl Erik Thomassen to Fiskeribladet.
