Makokou/Education: distribution of a batch of 1000 solar kits to the Marien Ngouabi school – AGP

MAKOKOU (north-east), October 19, 2023 (AGP) – The Marien Ngouabi municipal public school, located in the second district of Makokou, received, this Thursday, a donation of 1000 complete school kits from the company Alpha Centaury Mining (ACM), specialized in the search and exploitation of gold.

These school supplies concern students from pre-primary to 5th grade.

The director of this primary establishment, Michel Akoma Onono, did not fail to thank the benefactors for this gesture, and especially for the choice made for his establishment.

“Our joy is all the greater, because it is rare to meet such dedicated and trustworthy companies that help the students in our educational pool. We reassure you that our students will make good use of this donation and you will be happy to know that it has contributed to improving the learning conditions of our students in order to achieve our objectives,” he said. declared.

Furthermore, he hoped that this initiative, considered as a partnership, would extend to other educational establishments in the municipality of Makokou.

“You have breathed new life into our school, and we hope that this wind will have a positive impact on our educational pool,” he said.

For his part, the president of the parents’ association (APE), Thierry Menzoughe, welcomed this gesture which is part of the social responsibility of the ACM. The latter also wanted these actions to continue for the benefit of young learners.

For his part, the quality, hygiene, health and environment (QHSE) manager at the ACM, Claude Onanga, indicated that the general administrator of this company, Anand Bajla, advocates excellence in education.

“We are aware of our social and environmental responsibility as a company, and we firmly believe in the importance of education. We launched this initiative which aims to support the children of our communities, by providing them with complete school kits which constitute a symbol of our commitment to the education and future of our children,” he said.

Note that this ceremony was chaired by the prefect of the Ivindo department, Adelaide Chantal Ngovet wife Nkoghe, in the presence of officials from the Makokou-center school district.

This operation to deliver complete school kits will continue very soon in Ntsengkele, in the Ntang-Louli canton and in Mayibouth, in the M’Vady district.
