Halo Infinite is getting a lot of cool features in Season 5 Season 5: Reckoning started yesterday in Halo Infinite and introduced a lot of new content, including two new maps and more.
Apparently, this is what the community has been waiting for, as there are several things that point to a positive direction for the game. One of them is the number of concurrent players on Steam, which has grown to 18,000+, the highest number since Season 2 began 17 months ago. That’s enough to put Halo Infinite in the top 50 most played games on Steam.
In another impressive metric, spending on Season 5: Reckoning (and the in-game store) was so huge that Halo Infinite climbed from No. 84 to No. 6 on the bestseller list (by revenue) . This means that a lot of gamers have purchased the season pass, and there are likely to be a lot of gamers playing it.
It’s too early to say whether this trend will continue, but for now at least, it looks like Halo Infinite has been given a second chance by the gaming community.
