The JENM is a talent factory for young instrumentalists and vocalists between the ages of 15 and 21. It is sponsored by the Rhineland-Palatinate State Music Council in cooperation with the Saar State Music Council. In collaboration with aspiring and renowned composers, young musicians work on representative and style-forming works of contemporary music. The aim is to intensively engage with new music and its significance. Right from the start, you are trained to be creative and unbiased in your use of your own instrument, to be open-minded and to have confidence in your own abilities. Because the voices are all soloists, each ensemble member has a maximum of (self-)responsibility to enrich the whole with their individual voice.
