This season of SailGP, ten national teams will compete, each on board identical F50 boats, all equipped for high-speed, high-tech racing.
Abu Dhabi’s historic Zayed Port will host the inaugural event in Abu Dhabi in partnership with Mubadala Investment Group, the global partner of the SailGP Series, and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, to move the series to a new location in the city.

Kyle Langford, from Team Australia SailGP, said: “We are very excited to be coming to Dubai. It was a great place last year, we had really nice flat water which is perfect for all the boats, the wind was 12 knots and we snuck away with a last minute victory on “British and French, so we’re really excited to be back.”
