Solo, CNN Indonesia —
Wali Kota Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka reportedly currently processing two police record certificates (SKCK) as a candidate for vice president (cawapres) in 2024 presidential election.
This information spread amidst the popularity of Gibran’s name as a potential vice presidential candidate for the Forward Indonesia Coalition to accompany Prabowo Subianto.
When confirmed, Gibran admitted that he did not deny this information.
“Where is it?? Why am I still here? (Take care of where? I’m here all the time),” he said when met at Solo City Hall, Thursday (19/10).
He also asked the media crew to confirm the news through other sources.
“Look where I take care of SKCK (Just look for it, where do I take care of SKCKD),” he said
“Check with the Regional Police, telephone the Regional Police whether Gibran is taking care of the SKCK (Just check with the Regional Police, call the Regional Police to see if Gibran is taking care of the SKCK),” he continued.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Regional Police, Kombes Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, emphasized that he had not received information about the SKCK for Gibran regarding the 2024 presidential election.
“There hasn’t been any information from the Solo Police. After checking at the Regional Police, there hasn’t been any,” Bayu claimed CNNIndonesia.com.
