The Wylergut facility with the playground is getting old and needs to be renovated. The Wylergut district has only a few and rather smaller public open spaces. The facility is therefore heavily used. It will continue to serve as a neighborhood meeting point and place of retreat in the future. For this purpose, the playground should be upgraded and adapted to today’s needs, with the new equipment integrating into the existing green area as well as possible. In addition to new games, the damaged paving will also be renovated. Furthermore, factory lines and the previous lighting will be replaced, the existing planting with invasive cherry laurel will be removed and the planting areas will be ecologically upgraded. The local council approved a loan of 295,000 francs for the work.
