“I think we played with the right intentions throughout the 90 minutes. The score on the scoreboard put pressure on us, but missing counter-attacks should be the norm if we want to show the European level of football that the strongest clubs demonstrate.
Overall it was a good game, in some areas we performed well. But we allowed the opponent something that should not be allowed to a team like England, because they will certainly take advantage of it,” Rai Sport quotes Spalletti as saying.
