The Greek Police celebrates October 20th

The Greek Police celebrates on October 20 the “Police Day”, along with the memory of the Patron Saint of the Body, Great Martyr Saint Artemios. “Police Day” was instituted by the State to honor the contribution of the Greek Police to the Motherland and society.

As part of the festive events, an official Doxology will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, as follows:

  • At the Holy Metropolitan Church of Agios Athanasios in Ioannina at 10:00.
  • At the Holy Metropolitan Church of Agios Dimitrios in Arta at 10:30.
  • At the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos in Preveza at 09:45.
  • At the Holy Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin in Igoumenitsa at 09:30.

After the Doxology, the Daily Order of the Chief of the Hellenic Police will be read.

It will be a special joy for the police family, those who wish to honor the above events with their presence.
