European Stock Indices Experience Collective Losses at Close of Trading

European stock indices recorded strong collective losses at the close of trading today, as follows:

The European Stoxx 600 index fell by 1% at the end of trading. The French CAC index fell by about 0.9% at the end of trading. The British FTSE index is the most affected among European stocks, with losses reaching 1.1%. The German DAX index also fell by about 1%, at the close of European stock trading. The Spanish IBEX index also fell by 1% by the end of the session. The Italian MIB index is the least affected among European stocks, with losses of only 0.8% at the close of trading.

It should be noted that European stock indices recorded a decline during yesterday’s trading, Tuesday, coinciding with the rise in government bond yields on gains in energy stocks and the slight decline in fears of risks resulting from the conflict in the Middle East.

The European STOXX 600 index recorded a decline during yesterday’s trading, Tuesday, by 0.1%, and the construction and raw materials sector recorded a decline of 0.9%. While shares of energy companies recorded an increase of 0.3%, tracking the rise in crude oil prices.
