FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Chairman of the Technical Division of the Indonesian KPU, Idham Holik, revealed that the prospective candidate pair Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) will register for the 2024 presidential election tomorrow. Then followed by the pair Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD.
“So, on October 19, two coalitions of political parties announced plans to register their presidential and vice presidential candidates,” said Idham Holik to journalists, Wednesday (18/10/2023).
Anies and Cak Imin will register first at 08.00 WIB.
“NasDem, PKB and PKS parties at 08:00 WIB,” he said.
Idham said that the KPU had also received notification of registration from candidates promoted by PDIP, PPP, Hanura and Perindo. The candidates they are nominating, namely Ganjar and Mahfud Md, will register at 11.00 WIB.
“The coalition or combination of political parties PDI Perjuangan, PPP, Hanura Party and Perindo Party has submitted a letter of notification of plans to register the presidential and vice presidential candidates to the KPU which will be held on Thursday 19 October 2023 at 11.00 WIB until completion,” he said.
