Oasis member Liam Gallagher intends to perform a series of concerts next year during which he will perform songs from the band’s first album, “Definitely Maybe,” with his brother Noel not joining this concert tour.
Concerts will be held in Sheffield, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the release of the album that achieved international fame for the English band.
But fans of the band who want the brothers to put their differences aside will have to wait to find out whether Noel will take part in the tour, with no indication that the songwriter and guitarist will join.
The two brothers have not played together since the band split in 2009, but both still regularly perform their band’s old songs.
Liam Gallagher, in a post on Instagram, expressed his happiness at celebrating “the most important album released during the nineties of the twentieth century.”
He said: “I would not have achieved any success without this album, and you too, so let’s celebrate together.”
