Hamas begins psychological warfare against Israel – and exploits the kidnapped civilians!
For the first time, Hamas has released a video of a hostage. The terrorist organization captured between 199 and 250 people in the attack on Israel on October 7th and kidnapped them to Gaza.

One of them: 21-year-old Mia Schem. The young woman was one of the visitors to the music festival in Re’im that was attacked by the terrorists.
The content of the videos – disturbing! First you can see Mia Schem’s apparently wounded right arm being bandaged. She lies on a kind of bed and covers herself. This is followed by a statement from Schem in the approximately one-minute clip: “I am 21 years old and come from Shoham.” These are not voluntary statements; Mia Schem is forced to do so by Hamas.
“Get me out of here”
Then, under duress from the Hamas terrorists, she explains that she underwent a three-hour operation in a hospital in Gaza. She had previously been seriously wounded. She then addressed her words to her parents and siblings, pleading: “Get me out of here as quickly as possible.”
It is unclear where exactly the video was recorded. The young woman sits in front of a brown background depicting leaves and twigs. Schem, who also has French citizenship, appears composed on the outside.

Video is psychological warfare
What is Hamas’ goal in publishing the clip?
The perfidious strategy is part of psychological warfare against the Israeli civilian population. Because: The terrorist group uses Mia Schem to put pressure on the Israeli government and spread propaganda.
Hamas presents itself as a humane organization by showing how the hostage is given medical care. The truth is that terrorists slaughtered more than 1,300 people on October 7th. Hamas is trying to stop Israel from launching a ground offensive. As the hostage speaks, bombs can be heard in the background. The message: If Israel attacks, it risks the death of the hostages. Hamas wants to awaken hope among the relatives of those abducted. They should put pressure on the Israeli government not to attack Gaza.Read also
Mia’s family has now also spoken out. In a moving press conference, her mother Keren Schem held up a photo of her daughter.
She says: “Mia was the connecting link of this entire house. She has a 10-year-old sister, a 17-year-old brother and a 23-year-old brother. She is the love of this house, the most creative girl in the world. She cooks, paints, and is now learning to tattoo. There is nothing that she does not touch and turn into gold.”
She has many friends and a huge heart.

He continued: “Mia has overwhelming emotional intelligence, and because of the things she has been through, she has the wisdom and life experience of a 60-year-old woman, not a 21-year-old girl. She is my best friend. I would give my life to bring my daughter home.”
She also appealed to leaders around the world to “bring my baby back home in the same condition as I saw her on TV yesterday.” Her daughter urgently needs medical treatment because she has other health problems.

BILD spoke to Mia’s aunt, Galit Scharf: “We are shocked. Yesterday we saw Mia’s video on the news and then we also received it from 200 different people on Telegram. We all screamed with joy and felt relieved knowing she was alive. Finally we had a sign of life from her. Until that moment we were in great tension. But as we watched the video again and again, we noticed that she is confused, hurt and looks very pale. “Obviously she said what she was told to say”.

French President Emmanuel Macron has also called for the young woman’s immediate and unconditional release. The Elysee Palace said on Tuesday in Paris: “It condemns the disgrace that is the taking of innocent people hostage and its disgusting staging.”
At least 260 people were murdered by Hamas in the brutal terrorist attack on the music festival in Re’im.
