We all screamed with joy and felt relieved knowing she was alive. Finally we had a sign of life from her. Until that moment we were in great tension. But as we watched the video again and again, we noticed that she is confused, hurt and looks very pale. “Obviously she said what she was told to say”.

French President Emmanuel Macron has also called for the young woman’s immediate and unconditional release. The Elysee Palace said on Tuesday in Paris: “It condemns the disgrace that is the taking of innocent people hostage and its disgusting staging.”
