Other users commented on the same Reddit thread with pictures of their phones with ghost keyboards plastered across the screen. In other words, the screen burn-in on their iPhone 15 has a shadow again when using keyboard mode.
Meanwhile, according to the iMore page, there are allegations that the high temperatures experienced by some iPhone 15 Pro Max phones at launch before iOS 17 improvements may have exacerbated the screen problem.
