Staging with talent from the University of Monterrey was successfully presented at the UDEM Theater
A deep reflection on how stories have marked humanity since its beginnings is what the staging provided. I am the books that I have readmade with talent from the University of Monterrey and premiered on October 12 at the UDEM Theater.
The dramaturgy, by Hernán Galindo and Luis Guerrero, makes a compendium of 15 books that have transcended time, presenting a journey from the dawn of literature to the era of digital books, from the magic of Harry Potter to the anguish of the universe of Pedro Páramo. The general direction was carried out by Galindo himself, while the physical direction is by Jaime Sierra.
The cast was made up of 28 students and ExaUDEM from academic programs such as Global Business, Marketing and Creative Strategy, Information and Communication Sciences, Computer Technologies, Digital Film Production, Graphic Design and Nutrition, among others. Likewise, male and female students from the UDEM San Pedro, Valle Alto and Obispado High Schools.
Jaime Álvarez’s production, which won applause from the audience, shone with the costumes by Raúl Ozuna, the makeup and hair by Pina di Constanzo, the lighting by Jaime Sierra and the set design by Jorge Neri. I am the books that I have read had presentations during the weekend of October 13 to 15 at the UDEM Theater.
