For many years, Margarita Terekhova was considered one of the most spectacular Russian actresses. Directors dreamed of filming her in their films and TV series, and fans dreamed of meeting her. And only a few artists could compete with the screen star.
One of these stars was the Brazilian actress Lucelia Santos, who played the main role in the series “Slave Isaura.” With each episode, fans fell more and more in love with the charismatic actress and showered her with declarations of love. For many years, viewers, as well as film production workers, dreamed that Santos would come to the USSR, where her popularity was off the charts. The directors admitted: the star of the Brazilian screen would be a decoration for any project in the Soviet Union. And even after the end of “Slave Isaura,” the public did not give up hopes of seeing Santos.
However, the artist’s producers never thought of arranging a visit. And the actress came to Russia for the first time in 2018, when she had almost completed her film career, devoting all her time to her loved ones.
