Here I agree that Windows 8 was modified a lot to suit mobile devices, see the tiles, tablet mode and the like, on the other hand it makes sense because at that time Windows mobile was widely used, at the same time there was a trend of tablets with Windows and it made sense, you can say that at the time this was considered the future, but when time showed what nonsense it was, Windows 8.1 partially eliminated tiles. However, dozens later brought a standard interface again, or rather the tiles became smaller and were not annoying, but from the beginning they had a big problem with compatibility. To this day, I remember that I got an update to 10 from Windows 8 and my Wifi stopped working because the controller simply didn’t communicate. However, Windows 11 does not have these problems. Windows 11 works without problems even on a 15 year old device and the drivers just work. That system is less made for touch screens than Windows 10. They are already going in the right direction, they are trying to focus on productivity now, and if you use multiple monitors, Windows 11 just works better. And as far as functions are concerned, it doesn’t seem to me that it would be any different against Win 10. Rather, there are more functional ones, that’s all.
