Epic Games Launches Now On Epic Program to Attract Game Developers to the Epic Games Store

According to the description, the Now On Epic program allows game developers to bring game content that was listed on other game service platforms before October 31 this year to the Epic Games Store, and then collect all sales revenue within six months after it is officially launched. After more than half a year, 88% of the sales revenue can still be retained, and Epic Games only charges 12% of the sales revenue as platform service fees.

However, game developers must complete registration to participate in this program before the end of this year, and game content must be available on the Epic Games Store before the end of June 2025.

But there is an additional condition, that is, if the game operator lists more than 6 game contents on other game service platforms, then at least 3 other games must be brought to the Epic Games Store. If there are less than 3 game contents on other game service platforms, If you don’t have a payment, all games must be brought to the Epic Games Store for listing.

When introducing the First Run plan previously, Epic Games stated that game developers’ game content cannot be sold on other third-party PC game platforms. At the same time, the game content must be released and sold after October 16 this year to meet the conditions set by Epic Games. As for games that have originally signed a platform exclusive sales contract with Epic Games, they are not within the scope of this plan.

Epic Games explained that the actual sales revenue obtained by game companies in this plan will be deducted from sales taxes and refunds, while fees for processing game sales payments and providing CDN network services used when downloading game content will be borne by Epic Games absorbed.
