October is breast health month. Breast cancer accounts for approximately 23% of all cancer cases in Poland and is the most common malignancy among women. Although it is treatable, immediate action is crucial when the disease is detected. Breast cancer detected early is curable.

EEverywoman unites women in e-mobility

Katarzyna Sobotka, Claritas Investments investment manager in the field of electric mobility, decided to unite women in EEverywoman – New Mobility Women’s Network under the auspices of the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA). The aim is to integrate the women’s community for the development of future mobility.

I have been in the industry for six years and am often the only woman in meetings or the only panelist in conference sessions when invited.

A 2020 McKinsey analysis showed that companies with more than 25% women on their board of directors performed better. Currently, female participation in leading electric mobility companies remains low. According to the European Commission, only 22% of women in Europe work in the transport sector, 20% in the automotive sector, 22% in traditional energy and 32% in the renewable energy sector.

The women have gone on this expedition with Nissan, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Cupra, Renault and BMW electric cars. You can follow their path on EEverywoman’s Instagram account.
