The exhibition is made up of 10 photographs of the celebrations in Viedma of the victory of the Argentine National Team in the World Cup in Qatar on December 18, 2022. Among the images is the one portrayed in the Pucará Fountain, which went viral on social networks by the comparison with the artistic painting “Liberty leading the people” by Eugène Delacroix.
“The World Cup Celebrations” will open this Wednesday the 18th at 11 a.m. at the Río Colorado Cultural Center (Belgrano and Hipólito Yrigoyen), where it will remain until November 1. Visits can be made from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with free entry.
This traveling exhibition that has toured the different towns of the province since March was declared of social and cultural interest by the Legislature of Río Negro since it “expresses the feeling of happiness of thousands of Argentines at the maximum sporting achievement achieved.”
