Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri announced, “The forefront is Gaza, which has an area of about 350 square kilometers and is being subjected to annihilation by Israel.”
Berri considered, at the emergency meeting of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, that “if the displacement project in Gaza were to pass, it would be a fall for Arab national security and a project to divide the entire region.”
He stressed, “We must quickly stop the war of genocide that Israel is waging against the people of Gaza and put pressure to stop Judaization projects.”
Berri stressed that “member states that conclude agreements with the Israeli army must be asked to cancel them immediately or freeze their implementation.”
