The iPhone 17 may be two years away from its launch, but expectations indicate that there is a major change in the design of the upcoming phone.
According to experts, the iPhone 17 could have a larger battery capacity and unprecedented thinness. The iPhone 15 was released only at the end of last month and received encouraging reviews, and the release date of the next model, the iPhone 16, has already been set for September 2024.
The iPhone 17 may bring more interest, after analyst Min-shi Kyu revealed that the 2025 model could include resin-coated copper (RCC) parts inside.
As reported on product review site Tom’s Guide, Q claims that resin-coated copper parts can help reduce the thickness of the phone’s main board. Not only will this free up some internal space for other things, but it may also allow Apple to make the iPhone 17 Pro thinner.
One of the things the extra free space can be used for is larger battery capacity. All four iPhone 15 models have slightly larger batteries than their predecessors, so the possibility of them continuing to increase is high.
Thinner components also mean there’s new Apple Tetris hardware to fill the void. Whether that’s through a better cooling system, haptic motors for more solid-state buttons, or a larger quad lens for better zoom power, according to the newspaper. The Sun British.
