Meanwhile, Vilma crawls to the bistro on crutches to greet Vendula and Mário. After all, the hospital advised her to practice walking up the stairs, because that’s the basics. Later, Ája and Martina also stop by the bistro, both excited to see Vilma among people again. It is said that Martina’s excellent food also helped her on her feet, for which Ms. Nyklová politely thanks her. Martina sits down next to Áje and starts asking questions about Jirka. Had he already been caught by the lady from the traffic police who had a crush on him? Who knows, maybe something is brewing there. On Monday, the mayor was in the bistro and allegedly dealt with some “men’s matters” with Mário. Martin is surprised that Jirka stopped by for lunch. The pub has obviously lost a client. Too bad, he was a nice friend with whom she never got bored. In order for her to make things right, he would have to talk to her first. But luckily, a suitable excuse to talk will be offered. Ája suggests that it would be good to find someone who would push the quirky cook and the aggrieved mayor a little towards reconciliation. A simple but effective plan is already forming in her head. Unfortunately, because of her almost excessive efforts, the arrangement goes awry and Jirka ends up getting even more angry with Martina. She probably thinks she’s cocky now and brags about turning guys down all over the place. What if it’s true? What if she was so focused on not wanting anyone that she forgot to consider other people’s feelings?
Vilma Nyklová overestimates her strength
When Lexík appears in the bistro and expresses his wish to go home with his grandmother, a minor problem arises. Vilma sat down so much that now she can’t get up again. She had overestimated her strength a bit, she would rather rest, but how on earth was she going to get back up those stairs? Vendula joins Mária in the action and little Lexík also offers to help. Together, they will hopefully somehow get Grandma to Lumir’s apartment.
