(CNN) Large-scale demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people took place across Europe from the 14th to the 15th, amid reports of the plight of Palestinian residents fleeing Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. .
The fighting between Israel and Hamas, the Islamic organization that effectively controls the Gaza Strip, has reached an unprecedented intensity, and demonstrations in support of Israel or Palestine occur around the world. Violent clashes have also occurred in some areas.
A pro-Palestinian march was held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, on the 15th, with around 15,000 people participating, according to police.
