According to a report from China Securities Network, the newly installed capacity of new energy in Liaoning Province reached 4.9386 million kilowatts in the first three quarters of this year, surpassing the highest annual increase in new energy installed capacity in the province in previous years.
As of the end of September, the new energy installed capacity in Liaoning Province reached 23.764 million kilowatts, accounting for 33.54% of the total installed capacity. Wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the northeastern region have exceeded 20 million kilowatts. Fuxin, the first resource-exhausted city in China to undergo economic transformation, has fully utilized its abundant wind and solar resources and vigorously developed clean energy. As of the end of September, Fuxin City’s new energy power generation installed capacity reached 4.7154 million kilowatts, accounting for nearly 70% of the total power generation installed capacity, achieving a fundamental transformation of the energy structure with clean energy as the main source.
In order to support the transmission and consumption of clean energy, State Grid Liaoning Power has continuously increased investment in grid construction, promoted the construction of a new type of power system, and completed the construction of a strong Liaoning power grid with a central 500 kV inner and outer double-ring network and a western and southern 500 kV ring network as the core. It has put into operation grid projects such as the 500 kV Chuanzhou Substation, 500 kV Fuxin Substation, 500 kV Yong’an Substation, and 500 kV Lengjia Substation, greatly improving the transmission capacity of clean energy and opening up a “highway” for the consumption of new energy in Liaoning.
How has Fuxin City achieved a fundamental transformation of its energy structure with clean energy as the main source, and what is the percentage of new energy power generation installed capacity in the city
