They evaluate compliance with the housing plan in Pinar del Río

At just over 60 percent compliance, the housing completion plan in the Pinar del Río province is underway at the end of the first days of September, according to sector specialists.

According to the indicators, of a plan of 1,437 houses up to this month, only 860 have been completed. In this sense, the municipalities of Pinar del Río, Consolación del Sur and Los Palacios generally stand out, with figures estimated at 106 percent in the case of the first, while the other two are at 97 and 88 percent, respectively.

The sources specified that the most backward territories are San Luis and San Juan y Martínez, which are both at 30 percent compliance, followed by Sandino at 36, and Mantua and Minas de Matahambre at 41 and 42 percent.

It is worth mentioning that the figures offered rise considerably when breaking down the state plans in each territory, since there are over compliance in three municipalities, while two others are close to fulfilling their orders in this section; This does not happen in subsidies and own efforts, in which somewhat more depressed statistics are observed.

To date, of an annual plan that is around 2,001 homes to be completed by the end of December of this year, the percentage of compliance is not so encouraging if we take into account that, from January to September, there is still a debt that exceeds the 577 homes in general in the Vueltabajero territory.

However, the Provincial Housing Directorate assures that all figures are reconciled daily and the homes on the ground are visited, as they work with will and perseverance to complete the proposed order.
