Coming up MotoGP Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix 2023RNF team manager Wilco Zeelenberg tells why he is crazy about fried rice.
Unlike most European tongues, Zeelenberg, who comes from the Netherlands, is already familiar with several typical Indonesian foods.
After investigating, Zeelenberg is used to eating typical Indonesian food because his wife apparently has Indonesian blood.
“My favorite food in Indonesia is fried rice. Yes, because my wife is half Indonesian. So her father is full Indonesian, comes from Java,” Zeelenberg told CNNIndonesia.com at the Mandalika Circuit, Thursday (12/10).
“So, my children are a quarter Indonesian and he always prepares Fried Rice for me,” added Zeelenberg.
The smiling man also did not hesitate to praise the beauty of the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit and the friendliness of the Indonesian people.
“The Mandalika Circuit is very good, something special. Because sometimes nowadays there are many tracks and circuits that look similar to each other.”
“But this one is so distinctive that it’s not similar to the others. And that’s very good because you need to adapt to the race track and this corner looks like a corner in Europe. It’s quite challenging because of the temperature. But I think they’ve done a good job.” explained Zeelenberg.
The legendary Dutch racer hopes that his two racers, Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez, will be able to achieve maximum results at the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP.
