ACN Barcelona – The mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, has assured that the city “raises its voice with the same clarity and force” to condemn the terrorist attacks against Israel, as well as the “disproportionate” military response of mass destruction of lives, housing and civil infrastructure of the Palestinian population in Gaza. Through a message on X (formerly Twitter), Collboni stressed that Barcelona, as a city that “loves and promotes” peace, and the rest of the world must work tirelessly and with “determination” to achieve it , from all the international forums. “There is no other way than peace,” he concluded.
The deadline given by Israel to Palestinian civilians to leave the northern Gaza Strip it’s over at three in the afternoon, Catalan time. Israel had extended this Saturday early in the morning the time given, which was initially 24 hours from Friday also early in the morning.
Once this deadline is over, the north of the strip, which includes Gaza City, enters the uncertainty of a possible ground offensive by Israel. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 2,215 people have died and 8,714 have been injured in Gaza so far.
For its part, the latest balance made public by Israel reports more than 1,300 dead and more than 3,200 wounded in the attacks by Hamas last weekend
