Zaini said that the spread of HIV/AIDS still requires attention and the role of various parties to suppress the increase in cases. “Because this is a shared responsibility for both sufferers, families, government, community leaders and religious leaders,” said Zaini Rizaldi.
He said that each party could play a role in accordance with its main duties and functions, including the wider community. Work units within the Pekanbaru City Government (Pemkot) can also play a role within their respective scopes of work.
“The AIDS Prevention Commission, in accordance with its main duties and functions, will continue to coordinate with parties, including the business world,” said Zaini Rizaldi.

The Pekanbaru City Government, he said, through the Health Office, has provided health services for AIDS prevention, including treatment both in hospitals and community health centers. Apart from that, AIDS care institutions and community cadres also continue to strive to provide correct information and encourage vulnerable groups to find out their HIV status through HIV examination or testing.
Nationally, he said, the government through the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has targeted 3 zero. Namely zero new case, zero deaths from AIDS, and zero stigma and discrimination by 2030.
“Prevention efforts that we should continue to encourage are the realization of family resilience. “Because through family resilience, it is hoped that people can protect each other to avoid HIV and AIDS, at least for fellow family members,” said Zaini Rizaldi.
