The “Nuevo Amanecer” housing megaproject in Chillán Viejo is already 99% complete and this week one of the last visits to the 190 apartments was made by its owners, who took measurements and planned future arrangements along which will be the dream of owning your own home.
“It is a tremendous emotion to know that there is nothing left and we are one step away from receiving this house and we are happy for all the members and families who have come to see their neighborhood. It is a dream come true,” said Daniela Arriagada, president of the Committee.
Almost 17 months have been spent on the construction of the three towers of 4 floors each and which will house 64 apartments, which have an area of 52 to 56 square meters.

“I am very happy because people have already come to measure it, to look for ways to improve it, but they are beautiful, much larger than I imagined. Truly, this is the project that starts with a new standard of living, for people who live in apartments. I am very happy because they are very hard-working people who waited a long time. This is a joint effort and I am very satisfied to see the result,” stressed Deputy Frank Sauerbaum, who accompanied from the beginning the efforts to accelerate the construction of the housing project.
