San Antonio (United States) (AFP) – Frenchman Victor Wimpanyama, the leader of the “Draft” list in the American Professional Basketball League, shined in his second preparatory match for the NBA season, when he led his team, the San Antonio Spurs, to victory over the Miami Heat 120. -104 Friday at home.

The 19-year-old, 2.24m tall, scored 23 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks in less than 23 minutes on the court.
He succeeded in scoring from all positions, including a wonderful dunk in the second quarter following a counterattack.
The player, who is widely viewed as a once-in-a-generation talent, exhausted his opponents in the third quarter with medium shots and quick dribbles despite his towering height.
“I saw tonight where I can improve, it’s promising,” he said after the match.
He continued, “I am comfortable when I change my position on the field from one match to another, but also during matches. This is the key to my success. I am continuing my learning in the defensive aspects. I believe that we are on the right track.”
Wembanyama did not participate in the final quarter of the match, which he finished as the top scorer for Spurs.
The NBA League begins on October 24, and the Spurs will play their first match the next day at home against the Dallas Mavericks.
