The Ring of Fire solar eclipse is a phenomenon when the Moon is at its furthest point in its orbit. This means that the Moon cannot completely block the surface of the Sun. The remaining light surrounds the Moon, which looks like a ring of fire.
In this weekend’s phenomenon, the Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse will be visible in a number of areas of North America starting at 12:13 ET (11:13 WIB) until 13:03 ET (00:03 WIB 15 October 2023). Such as the Oregon coast to the Texas Gulf Coast, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. Apart from that, the eclipse can also be seen in several areas of California, Idaho, Colorado and Arizona.
Apart from North America, this eclipse phenomenon can also be seen in Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Panama and Colombia. Later it will end up off the Atlantic coast of South America in Natal, Brazil.
For those of you who have the opportunity to see it directly, it is recommended not to direct your eyes directly towards the sky. Because the sun’s light will not be completely blocked when a solar eclipse occurs.
So use special eye protection to watch it. Such as certified eclipse glasses and telescopes and cameras with special solar filters.
