Hezbollah: Ready to fight Israel when the time comes

The Lebanese official’s remarks coincided with the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister to Beirut. The outside world called on Hezbollah not to be involved in the war, but Lebanon refused.
“Major international countries, Arab countries and United Nations envoys have asked us, directly or indirectly, not to intervene in the war, but we are not affected,” Qasim said. “Hezbollah knows its responsibilities,” Qasim added.
In recent days, Israel has been engaged in fighting with Lebanese Hezbollah and Palestinian allies.
A Reuters reporter was killed in cross-border shelling in southern Lebanon today, and six other journalists from AFP, Reuters and Al Jazeera were injured.
