Thai Binh Province Promotes Business Climate in the United Kingdom

London (VNA) – The province of Thai Binh (North) always strives to create the best conditions for all investors coming to invest on its soil, including British companies.

This was stated by Ngo Dong Hai, secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee during an investment promotion meeting in the province, organized in London on October 12 by the province and the Vietnamese Embassy in United Kingdom. He said the meeting was aimed at providing British investors with information on Thai Binh and its preferential investment policies in the fields of industry, health, education and culture. … as well as the support of local authorities for foreign investors, British in particular.

He hoped that the meeting would open up many opportunities for cooperation between Thai Binh and the UK in all fields, including education, clean energy, industry, finance. He affirmed that Thai Binh will always create optimal conditions for investors’ activities on its soil.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK will support Thai Binh and businesses from both sides in establishing ties and implementing cooperation projects concrete.

Present at the meeting, Paul Hoang, chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Businesses in the United Kingdom (UBVK), highlighted areas of long-term cooperation between the two sides, including renewable energy, education, transfer of technology and financial services. He affirmed that VBUK is ready to connect and support businesses in Thai Binh and the UK through mutually beneficial cooperation.

Alessandro Antonioli, Vietnam Wind Energy Director of BP Group, shared the benefits of wind power development in Thai Binh. Through these projects, BP could support this Vietnamese province in environmental and social areas such as professional skills development, sustainable community development, protection of biodiversity, support for fishing. -VNA
