Starting from an ambitious project that continues to attract massive hype on various social media and ends up being a substandard action game product, the Indonesian game – Troublemaker created by the Gamecom Team still has a lot of room to grow and develop. With a strong signal that they will continue to expand the story and world that he carries, it turns out that we don’t have to wait too long until a sequel series ends up being revealed to the public. Taking advantage of the IGDX Game Showcase 2023 event, Gamecom officially announced the sequel series – Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream.
Not just a teaser, this announcement also came with a first trailer showing off a world that is no longer “trapped” in a school atmosphere like the first series, as well as confirmation of the two protagonists – Jordan and Budi. Melee combat action also seems to still be the focus along with its flagship ending animation, which is now also supported by more mini-games, including band action in it. Gamecom Team also confirmed that important characters from the first series will return in this sequel series.
Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream itself is currently planned to be released in 2025 with an uncertain release date. What do you think? Looks interesting?
